Our mission is to assist Coastal’s members and their families through the process of aging with dignity and thoughtfulness. It is to assist with all aspects of planning to help ensure older loved ones are cared for with the utmost respect and provided the quality of life they have wished for.

Coastal’s Elder Care Planning Program includes a network of professionals including, but not limited to, financial advisors, care management specialists, and attorneys.

Elder Care Planning is also incorporated into Wealth Management’s financial planning process to include later life wishes and plans.

The program includes services as follows:

Organizational Services, which will bring together members’ important documents related to medical, financial, legal, and health-related aspects, record location of these records.
Wealth Management services, offered through CUSO Financial Services, L.P.
Estate Planning which may include Members Trust Company* and a network of attorneys who may provide the necessary/required legal documents and/or plan for the member.
Care Facilitation for members and loved ones. This will include a checklist for planning around care management, and a network of professionals who will provide the appropriate level of care needed.
